The Manhattan Hot Shot Sandwich — sometimes called a Manhattan Hot Shot or Hot Shot Sandwich — is a warm, hearty, comfort-food classic. It typically features roast beef, sliced bread, and mashed potatoes, all smothered in savory brown gravy. Some versions use turkey or pork, but roast beef is the traditional favorite.

🍽️ Variations:
-
Turkey Hot Shot: Swap roast beef for turkey and use turkey gravy.

-
Add cheese: A slice of provolone or Swiss between the beef and potatoes adds creaminess.
-
Use sourdough or rye for more texture or flavor.
