Irresistible Red Velvet Brownies

Here’s a rich, fudgy, and totally irresistible Red Velvet Brownies recipe — with that signature cocoa flavor, a hint of tang, and a swirl of cream cheese frosting if you like it extra decadent. These are perfect for holidays, Valentine’s, or whenever you want to impress!


❤️ Irresistible Red Velvet Brownies

🍫 Ingredients:

For the Brownies:

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tbsp red food coloring (liquid or gel)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp white vinegar

  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ tsp salt

Optional Cream Cheese Swirl:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 egg yolk

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract


🔥 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat to 350°F (175°C).

  • Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it.

2. Make Brownie Batter:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together:

    • Melted butter

    • Sugar

    • Eggs

    • Red food coloring

    • Vanilla

    • Vinegar

  • Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt.

  • Mix until just combined — don’t overmix!

3. Optional Cream Cheese Swirl:

  • In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.

  • Pour brownie batter into prepared pan.

  • Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture on top and swirl gently with a knife.

4. Bake:

  • Bake for 28–32 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with just a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

  • Cool completely before cutting.


🍽️ Serving Tips:

  • Dust with powdered sugar

  • Top with cream cheese frosting or drizzle with melted white chocolate

  • Serve with vanilla ice cream for the ultimate treat

  • Store in an airtight container at room temp for 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.

  • Freeze slices for up to 2 months.
