Frozen Fruit Salad is a creamy, refreshing, vintage-style dessert or side dish that’s perfect for holidays, summer gatherings, or anytime you want a cool, fruity treat! You can make it with canned or frozen fruit, and it’s super easy to customize.


🍓❄️ Frozen Fruit Salad (Classic Creamy Style)

🕒 Prep Time: 15 minutes

❄️ Freeze Time: 4–6 hours or overnight

🍽️ Serves: 8–10


📝 Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip) or whipped cream

  • 1 (15 oz) can fruit cocktail, drained

  • 1 cup chopped strawberries (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained

  • ½ cup maraschino cherries, halved

  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

  • ½ cup mini marshmallows (optional)

  • Juice of ½ lemon (optional for balance)


👩‍🍳 Instructions

🔹 1. Mix the Base

  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth

  • Add sweetened condensed milk and mix until creamy

  • Fold in whipped topping gently


🔹 2. Add the Fruit

  • Fold in all the fruit, nuts, and marshmallows

  • Add lemon juice if using

Tip: If using frozen fruit, make sure it’s thawed and well-drained to avoid icy texture.


🔹 3. Freeze

  • Pour mixture into a 9×13-inch pan or loaf pan

  • Cover and freeze for at least 4–6 hours or until firm


🔹 4. Serve

  • Let sit at room temp for 10–15 minutes before slicing

  • Cut into squares or scoop like ice cream

  • Healthier version: Use Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese

  • Tropical twist: Add mango, coconut flakes, and bananas

  • Holiday version: Mix in cranberries or crushed peppermint

  • Layered: Freeze in muffin tins or molds for individual servings
