Posted on September 22, 2025

🔥 Deep-Fried Shrimp Alfredo Burrito Bites — crispy on the outside, creamy and cheesy on the inside! These rich, golden-fried bites are packed with shrimp, Alfredo sauce, cheese, and pasta (yes, pasta!) all wrapped up in a tortilla and fried to perfection. Perfect for game day, parties, or late-night cravings.

🦐 Deep-Fried Shrimp Alfredo Burrito Bites

🧂 Ingredients:

For the Filling:

  • 1½ cups cooked shrimp, chopped (peeled & deveined)

  • 1 cup cooked pasta (penne, rotini, or fettuccine — chopped if long)

  • ¾ cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Optional: red pepper flakes or Cajun seasoning for a kick

For Assembly:

  • 6–8 small flour tortillas (6-inch size)

  • 1 egg + 1 tbsp water (egg wash)

  • Toothpicks (for sealing)

For Frying:

  • Vegetable or canola oil for deep-frying

🍳 Instructions:

1. Make the Filling:

In a bowl, mix:

  • Cooked shrimp

  • Cooked pasta

  • Alfredo sauce

  • Mozzarella and Parmesan

  • Garlic powder & pepper
Let it cool slightly before assembling.

2. Assemble the Burrito Bites:

  • Spoon about 2–3 tablespoons of filling into each tortilla.

  • Fold in sides and roll tightly like mini burritos.

  • Seal with toothpicks or a bit of egg wash.

3. Chill Before Frying (Optional):

  • Place assembled bites in the fridge for 15–30 minutes to firm up. Helps them stay sealed when frying.

4. Heat the Oil:

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).

5. Fry the Burrito Bites:

  • Carefully lower 2–3 bites at a time into the hot oil.

  • Fry for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.

  • Remove and drain on paper towels.

6. Serve Hot!

  • Serve with a drizzle of Alfredo, marinara, garlic butter, or ranch for dipping.

  • Garnish with parsley, grated Parmesan, or a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning.

📝 Tips:

  • Make ahead: Assemble and refrigerate up to 1 day before frying.

  • Air fryer option: Brush with oil and cook at 400°F for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway.

  • Want crunchier bites? Add breadcrumbs or crushed fried onions to the filling!

Want to turn this into a full-size burrito, a spicy version, or a seafood mix with crab or lobster? Just ask!
