Here’s a super easy and delicious Crescent Roll Casserole recipe — a comforting, cheesy, crowd-pleasing dish you can customize endlessly.


🥐 Crescent Roll Casserole (Ground Beef & Cheese Version)

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef (or turkey, sausage, or chicken)

  • 1 can (8 oz / 226g) crescent roll dough

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese blend)

  • ½ cup sour cream (optional, for creaminess)

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1 garlic clove, minced (or ½ tsp garlic powder)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or taco seasoning (depending on flavor profile)

  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup (optional for creamy version)


🔥 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

  • Set oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cook the Meat:

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned.

  • Drain excess fat.

  • Season with salt, pepper, and seasoning of choice.

  • Stir in sour cream and/or soup (if using) to make it creamy.

3. Assemble Casserole:

  • Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

  • Unroll crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the dish, pinching seams together to form a crust.

  • Spread the meat mixture evenly over the dough.

  • Sprinkle cheese on top.

4. Bake:

  • Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until the crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.

5. Serve:

  • Let cool 5 minutes before slicing.
