🍦🍫 Cookie Dough Snickers & Reese’s Ice Cream Recipe
📋 Ingredients (makes ~1.5 quarts):
Ice Cream Base:
-
2 cups heavy cream
-
1 cup whole milk
-
¾ cup granulated sugar
-
1 tbsp vanilla extract
-
Pinch of salt
Add-ins:
-
¾ cup edible cookie dough (see quick recipe below)
-
½ cup chopped Snickers
-
½ cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
-
Optional: chocolate or caramel sauce swirl
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Make the base:
In a large bowl, whisk together cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt until the sugar dissolves. Chill mixture in the fridge for 1–2 hours if not using an ice cream maker with a compressor.
2. Churn the ice cream:
Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions (usually 20–25 minutes).
3. Add the good stuff:
Once the ice cream has thickened to soft-serve consistency, fold in chopped cookie dough, Snickers, and Reese’s. You can also swirl in chocolate or caramel sauce.
4. Freeze:
Transfer to a lidded container, smooth the top, and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight until scoopable.
