Posted on September 14, 2025

Here’s a quick, flavorful, and super satisfying recipe for Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps — melty cheese, garlicky seasoned chicken, and your favorite wrap or tortilla. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a hearty snack!

🌯 Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

Crispy outside. Cheesy, garlicky, juicy chicken inside.

✅ Ingredients (Makes 4 wraps)

For the Chicken:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: ½ tsp paprika or Italian seasoning

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps

  • 1½ cups shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or a mix)

  • ¼ cup sour cream, ranch, or garlic aioli (optional)

  • Optional fillings: baby spinach, sliced tomatoes, cooked bacon, onions, etc.

  • Butter or oil for pan-toasting

🔥 Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken

  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

  • Add garlic, stir until fragrant (30 seconds).

  • Add cooked chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.

  • Stir well and heat for 3–4 minutes until warmed through and flavorful.

  • Remove from heat.

2. Assemble the Wraps

  • Lay out tortillas.

  • Spread a little sour cream or sauce (if using) on each.

  • Layer with cheese, garlic chicken, and any optional fillings (spinach, tomatoes, bacon, etc.).

  • Fold in the sides and roll tightly like a burrito.

3. Toast the Wraps

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat.

  • Add a little butter or oil.

  • Place wraps seam-side down and toast for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

4. Serve

  • Slice in half and serve hot with extra dipping sauce: ranch, garlic mayo, or hot sauce.

🧊 Storage & Meal Prep

  • Fridge: Store cooked wraps (wrapped in foil or airtight) for up to 3 days.

  • Reheat: In a skillet or air fryer for crispy texture.

  • Freezer: Wrap un-toasted wraps in foil and freeze. Thaw and toast when ready.

🔄 Variations

  • Swap chicken for leftover rotisserie, shredded beef, or grilled tofu.

  • Use low-carb or spinach tortillas for a lighter version.

  • Add jalapeños for heat or sun-dried tomatoes for a gourmet twist.

  • Make it a quesadilla: Just fold in half and cook open-faced style!

Would you like a low-carb version, a spicy buffalo twist, or a sheet-pan meal prep version next?
