Here’s a simple, crispy, and flavorful Air Fryer Cabbage recipe — the perfect quick side dish that’s healthy, budget-friendly, and super satisfying. It caramelizes beautifully in the air fryer, giving you tender, golden edges with just the right crunch.


🥬 Crispy Air Fryer Cabbage

🧂 Ingredients:

  • ½ head of green cabbage (or red), cut into wedges or thick slices

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika (optional, for color & flavor)

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: a squeeze of lemon, parmesan, or red pepper flakes for serving


🔥 Instructions:

1. Prep the Cabbage:

  • Slice the cabbage into thick wedges, steaks, or large chunks (not too thin or they’ll burn).

  • Place in a bowl or directly on a tray.

  • Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.

  • Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

2. Air Fry:

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) (if your model requires preheating).

  • Arrange cabbage pieces in a single layer in the basket. Don’t overcrowd — cook in batches if needed.

  • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping or shaking halfway through, until edges are crispy and cabbage is tender.

⏱ For extra crispiness, cook an extra 2–3 minutes. Watch closely near the end so it doesn’t burn.


🍽️ Serve With:

  • Grilled meats, roast chicken, or tofu

  • Rice bowls or grain salads

  • As a healthy snack with a dipping sauce (like garlic aioli or ranch)


📝 Variations:

  • Add balsamic glaze or soy sauce before serving for a tangy twist.

  • Toss with a little parmesan cheese before or after air frying.

  • Add thinly sliced onions or carrots to roast along with it.
