Here’s a quick & simple recipe for making Air Fryer Tortilla Bread — soft, warm, and perfect for wraps, dipping, or as a side to your favorite meal. You can use store-bought tortillas or make them from scratch. I’ll give you both options!

🔥 Air Fryer Tortilla Bread (2 Ways)

🥇 Option 1: Using Store-Bought Tortillas (Quick Method)

✅ Ingredients:

  • Flour tortillas (any size)

  • Olive oil or melted butter (optional, for brushing)

  • Garlic powder, herbs, or salt (optional, for flavor)

🧑‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Brush tortillas lightly with olive oil or butter if desired.

  3. Place 1–2 tortillas (depending on size) in the air fryer basket.

  4. Air fry for 2–4 minutes, flipping halfway:

    • For soft and warm bread: 2–3 minutes.

    • For crispy chips or flatbread-style: 4–5 minutes until golden.

💡 Great for quick wraps, tacos, or making air-fried chips!

🥇 Option 2: Homemade Tortilla Bread (From Scratch)

🍞 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¾ cup warm water

  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil (or olive oil)

🧑‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Make the dough:

    • In a bowl, combine flour and salt.

    • Stir in warm water and oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.

    • Knead for 1–2 minutes until smooth.

    • Let rest for 15 minutes, covered with a towel.

  2. Roll it out:

    • Divide dough into 6–8 balls.

    • Roll each into a thin circle (as thin as a tortilla).

  3. Air fry:

    • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

    • Lightly brush dough with oil if desired.

    • Place one at a time in the basket.

    • Cook for 3–5 minutes, flipping halfway, until puffed and lightly browned.

🔄 Variations & Add-Ons:

  • Garlic tortilla bread: Brush with garlic butter before or after air frying.

  • Cheesy version: Sprinkle with Parmesan or shredded cheese before cooking.

  • Herbed flatbread: Add dried oregano, basil, or za’atar to the dough or topping.

🫓 Serve with:

  • Hummus or tzatziki

  • Curries or soups

  • Tacos or wraps

  • Use as a pizza base!
