Chicken dip

Here’s a creamy, cheesy, and addictive Chicken Dip recipe — perfect for game day, parties, or a cozy snack night. It’s easy to make, and you can bake it or heat it in a slow cooker!


🐔 Classic Creamy Chicken Dip

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt

  • ½ cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese blend)

  • ¼ cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot – adjust to taste)

  • Optional: ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp onion powder

  • Optional topping: green onions, extra cheese, or crumbled bacon


🔥 Instructions:

🔄 Method 1: Baked Chicken Dip

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large bowl, mix:

    • Cream cheese

    • Sour cream

    • Ranch dressing

    • Hot sauce

    • Spices (if using)

  3. Stir in shredded chicken and ¾ of the cheese.

  4. Spread into a baking dish (8×8 or similar).

  5. Top with remaining cheese.

  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

  7. Garnish with green onions or toppings if desired.


🔄 Method 2: Slow Cooker Chicken Dip

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small slow cooker.

  2. Cook on low for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally, until hot and melted.

  3. Keep on “warm” setting to serve.


🧄 Optional Add-ins:

  • Crumbled bacon for extra richness

  • Diced jalapeños for spice

  • Diced celery for crunch

  • Chopped spinach or artichokes for a twist


🥖 Serving Suggestions:

  • Tortilla chips

  • Crackers

  • Celery sticks

  • Toasted baguette slices

  • Stuffed into mini bell peppers or slider buns
