Butterfinger Balls

Butterfinger Balls are the perfect no-bake treat — creamy, crunchy, chocolatey, and loaded with that irresistible Butterfinger flavor. 🥜🍫 These bite-sized goodies are ideal for parties, holidays, or anytime you need a quick sweet fix!


🍬 Butterfinger Balls (No-Bake)

🕒 Prep Time: 20 minutes

❄️ Chill Time: 30–60 minutes

🍽️ Makes: 24–30 balls


📝 Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened

  • 1½ cups crushed Butterfinger bars (about 4 full-size bars or 12 fun-size)

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or shortening (optional, for smoother coating)


👩‍🍳 Instructions

🔹 1. Make the Filling

  1. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.

  2. Mix in the crushed Butterfinger bars, powdered sugar, and vanilla until fully combined.

  3. Chill the mixture for 15–20 minutes to firm it up for rolling.


🔹 2. Shape into Balls

  • Scoop and roll into 1-inch balls.

  • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill again for 30 minutes or until firm.


🔹 3. Coat in Chocolate

  1. Melt chocolate chips (and coconut oil if using) in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.

  2. Dip each Butterfinger ball into the chocolate using a fork or toothpick, letting excess drip off.

  3. Return to parchment and let set.

Optional: Sprinkle with extra crushed Butterfinger on top before the chocolate hardens for decoration!


🔹 4. Store & Serve

  • Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week

  • Or freeze for up to 2 months


🔁 Variations

  • Roll in cocoa powder, sprinkles, or crushed peanuts instead of dipping in chocolate

  • Add a touch of peanut butter to the filling for extra richness

  • Use white chocolate for a different twist
