Here’s a fun, refreshing, and tropical treat: Watermelon Fries with Coconut Lime Dip — perfect for summer parties, BBQs, or just a cool snack!
🍉 Watermelon Fries with Coconut Lime Dip
Ingredients:
For the Watermelon Fries:
-
1 small seedless watermelon, cut into “fries” (long thin sticks, like French fries)
-
Optional garnish: Tajín seasoning, fresh mint, or lime zest
For the Coconut Lime Dip:
-
1/2 cup canned coconut cream (or thick coconut milk, chilled)
-
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
-
Zest of 1 lime
-
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
-
Pinch of salt
Instructions:
-
Prep the watermelon
Slice the watermelon into fry-like sticks. Pat dry with a paper towel if they’re very juicy (so the dip sticks better). -
Make the dip
In a small bowl, whisk together coconut cream, lime juice, lime zest, honey (or maple syrup), and a pinch of salt until smooth and creamy. -
Chill (optional)
Refrigerate the dip for 10–15 minutes to let the flavors blend and firm up slightly. -
Serve
Arrange watermelon fries on a platter. Sprinkle with a little Tajín or lime zest for extra flavor, if desired. Serve with the coconut lime dip on the side.
Tips:
-
Vegan? Use maple syrup or agave instead of honey.
-
Extra fun? Serve with toothpicks or mini forks and garnish with shredded coconut or chopped fresh mint.
